Summit Bank

Summit Bank is a Pakistani retail bank which is a subsidiary of Mauritius investment company, Suroor Investment.[1] It is based in Karachi, Pakistan. It has a branch network of 193 across Pakistan.[2][3]

History

The bank was formed by acquisition of Arif Habib Bank.[4]

In 2009, the Arif Habib Bank was acquired by Suroor Investment of Mauritius.[1] Subsequently, it changed its name to Summit Bank.[2] It also acquired Atlas Bank which was formed in 2006 by Atlas Group.[5]

In 2011, Mybank was merged into Summit Bank.[6]
