St Robert of Newminster Catholic School

St Robert of Newminster Catholic School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form college located in Washington in the City of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England.[1] The school is named after Saint Robert of Newminster. Mr Dean Juric is currently head teacher[2] and Mr Gregory Moorhouse chair of governors.[3] The school's former executive headteacher, Nick Hurn, was awarded the OBE for services to education. St Robert of Newminster Catholic School is a voluntary aided school and sixth form administered by Sunderland City Council and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The school also has a specialism in the humanities. It offers GCSEs and BTECs.
