Lins Honeyman gave the EP a score of six out of ten for Cross Rhythms and wrote, "First up are two expertly-executed dance tunes with the bouncy "My Reason" and the potential dancefloor anthem "Fall On Me" showcasing the ability of the folks at Planetshakers to turn out some truly innovative worship songs that buck the trend. However, proceedings soon snap back into plodding, mid-tempo modern worship mode with the very lengthy "Rain Your Glory Down" and an extended version of part two's "God Is On The Throne" ensuring that this polished Aussie collective end up playing things safe."[2] In a four and half star review from Louder Than the Music, Jono Davies stated, "My worry here is that these songs depend so much on the modern exciting dance sounds and that other elements of the songs are missed. When actually it seems like Planetshakers on part 3 want the big moments of these songs to be the big musical dance 'drops' (I thinks that's what the cool kids call them). Will these songs work in a live setting perfectly? Yes, so much. Hearing these songs live be amazing and what is great is you can hear it on the recording."[3]
