Piwi+

Piwi+ (formerly Piwi) is a French pay television channel for children aged 3 to 6, owned by the Canal+ Group.[1][2]

Piwi is launched on December 3, 2003 by Télévision Par Satellite.[3]

Characters

  • Soleil (voiced by Naïke Fauveau) is a 3-year-old female piwi with yellow body and amber rays.
  • Gourmand (voiced by Brigitte Guedj) is a 6-year-old male piwi with amber body and green bubbles.
  • Étoile (voiced by Caroline Combes) is a 6-year-old female piwi with magenta body and yellow feathers.
  • Radar (voiced by Valérie Lecot) is a 8-year-old male piwi with violet body with crimson satellites.
  • Ventouse (voiced by Fily Keita) is a 7-year-old female piwi with green body and crimson suction cups.
  • Resort (voiced by Sauvane Delanoë) is a 9-year-old female piwi with crimson body and indigo springs.
  • Peinture (voiced by Blanche Ravalec) is a 5-year-old male piwi with turquoise body and yellow spray tanks.

TV Series

The TV series premiered on July 9, 2002 called Les Vacances de Piwi!, a 3D animated show that airs on Télé-Québec in Quebec, and later on France 5 in France that premiered on November 2, 2002. The series later aired on TFO in Quebec and Piwi in France.

Production

The series was produced by EnSky Studios in Montreal, Quebec. The series was created in Alias Wavefront Maya and Avid DS for 3D animation and visual effects.
