Career

Most of his career was spent in B films, as "the archetypal spiv, unreliable boyfriend, unscrupulous blackmailer, the smoothie ever ready to light a lady's cigarette".[4] By the mid-1970s he had moved to Australia and lived alone, apart from his little dog, in Sydney where he worked in local television drama. He and his dog died in a fire in his flat.
