Messerschmitt Bf 165

The Messerschmitt Bf 165 was a German long-range bomber project. There is very little published about the Bf 165, as it was merely a prototype which would later be scrapped for unknown reasons. Wind tunnel testing of the aircraft began in 1937. A full-scale mockup of the aircraft was constructed for display to the Reichsführer in 1937.[1] According to this forum thread, the aircraft's mockup was a 2 engine model- as opposed to the 4 engine one shown here, however due to lack of evidence or proof of the aircraft's exact design, the image on this page will remain unchanged.
