Kettering Health Network

Kettering Health Network (KHN), formerly Kettering Medical Center Network, is a nonprofit network of nine Dayton and Cincinnati area hospitals, Kettering College, and 120 outpatient facilities.[1] The system is based in Dayton, Ohio. The network was formed following the merger of Kettering Medical Center and Grandview Medical Center in 1999.[2] Kettering Health Network employs over 12,000 employees and 2,100 physicians.[1][3]


Kettering Health Network is made up of nine hospitals in the Southwest Ohio region. They include:[4]

In 2010, Kettering Health Network received the Governor’s Award from The Partnership for Excellence.[9] The hospital network is also a five-time winner of the IBM Watson 15 Top Health Systems (2009, 2010, 2011, 2016, and 2017).[10][11] For two consecutive years beginning in 2017, KHN was also named by Fortune magazine as a company that ranks in the top 30 according to the annual "Best Workplaces in Health Care" publication, which surveys health care employees nationwide.[12][13]
