The show was about two sisters: Rano and Bulbul, who love each other a lot. Bulbul, the elder of the two, is beautiful but a selfish girl; whereas Rano is caring and loving. The tables are turned when they start liking the same person, Ram. Bulbul, the elder one is married to Ram against her wishes (she develops feelings for someone else). Later she leaves her husband and their child and elopes with the person she likes. Her sister Rano is then married to Ram because he has a child, slowly she begins to fall for him and Ram too starts liking her when Bulbul suddenly reappears and wants her family back. After Bulbul conspires and tries to separate Ram an d Rano she is caught and humiliated by Ram. The show ended with Rano's death by cancer and Bulbul realizing her mistake and reunites with Ram.
