She was in CID as Inspector Shreya. Her first episode in CID was "Raaz Sar Aur Haath Ka" (The Secret of the Head and Hand) which was aired on 30 June 2012.[3][4] Shreya in CID was shown as a brave and intelligent officer who could handle personal and professional life with the same ease. Janvi Chheda is now widely recognised for her role in CID as Inspector Shreya.

Personal life

Janvi Chheda is a Gujarati whose native place is Mandvi, Kutch.[5] She was born and brought up in Mumbai but visited Mandvi as a child, where she celebrated Diwali for a number of years. She also loves to travel. She eats all kinds of cuisines at home.[5]

She married her long-time beau Nishant Gopalia in 2011 with whom she has a daughter.[6]

Television

Janvi Chheda started her career as an anchor for a Gujarati television channel, and then did Gujarati TV shows, after which she made her way to the Hindi show Chhoona Hai Aasman.[5]
