Location and facilities

The International School of Moscow has two campuses. One is based in Krylatskoye District, Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, and one in the International Residential Complex (IRC) Rosinka, Krasnogorsky District, Moscow Oblast.[2]

Facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, libraries, ICT rooms, sports facilities, dining halls, swimming pool, rowing lake (Rosinka), climbing walls and STEAM rooms.

ISM is governed by the Nord Anglia Education[3]. The day-to-day operation is overseen by the principal. The school is also an affiliate of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS)[4], and is licensed by the Russian authorities.

ISM has academic staff from many different native-English speaking countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. In Early Years (ages 2-4) and Primary (5-10), all classes have a teacher and an assistant teacher (or AT). All teachers are qualified to teach the English National Curriculum by British universities. Assistant teachers are both native and non-native English speakers[5].
