Christensen is currently one of the top junior women's curlers in the United States. She has played in six national junior championships, winning in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, finishing second in 2013 and fifth in 2011. Her junior title in 2012 sent her and her rink of Elizabeth Busche, Anna Bauman and Sonja Bauman to the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships where they finished with an 0-9 record. Christensen would get to play at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships as the alternate for the US champion Miranda Solem rink. Christensen would play in four games at the World Juniors.

Christensen's team also curls on the World Curling Tour. She picked up her first career Tour victory by winning the 2013 FSCC Early Cash event.

Christensen competes in mixed doubles curling with John Shuster. The pair finished in second place at the 2017 United States Mixed Doubles Curling Olympic Trials and earned a national championship in 2019.[2] Christensen and Shuster won the bronze medal in the 2019 World Curling Championship Mixed Doubles.
