Cheras, Kuala Lumpur

Cheras is a district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The township is located to the south-east of Kuala Lumpur. Cheras is also adjacent to Ampang to the north and Kajang to the south, both of which are major towns within the metropolitan area of Kuala Lumpur.[1]

Cheras stretches from the Royal Selangor Golf Club along Jalan Tun Razak-Jalan Bukit Bintang intersection to parts of it bordering Kajang. Parts of Cheras have a Selangor address while the larger part of it comes with a Kuala Lumpur address.

Administration

The suburb is part of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. This excludes a portion of the area known as Cheras, Selangor which resides in the state of Selangor.
