Boiling Point, California

The “Boiling Point” was a section of road along Sierra Highway located in the Antelope Valley of the Mojave Desert, in northern Los Angeles County, California. It was so named because the steep grade there caused car radiators to overheat. [2] The Boiling Point Garage, owned by Tex Miller and his wife, and the Boiling Point Café were located there.

The grade is located along the Sierra Highway, 12 mi (19 km), west of Palmdale.

Ritter Ranch Park, a multi-purpose recreational area, is located north of the settlement along Boiling Point Road.[3]
